On March 23, 2023, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of China to Bangladesh, visited the office of the Prothom Alo upon invitation, and met with Mr. Matiur Rahman, Editor and Publisher of the newspaper. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on China-Bangladesh relations, cultural exchanges, media and education cooperation, and regional and international issues of common concern.
