On 8 April 2023, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, attended the donation ceremony of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh to Desh Protibondhi School, a school for the disabled in Panchagarh District.

Ambassador Yao Wen said in his speech that China and Bangladesh are friendly neighbors, and the students are the future of the two countries. He expected the students to carry forward China-Bangladesh friendship to a new height.
