On 25 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of China to Bangladesh, met with Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Hafiz, Special Assistant to Chief Adviser of the Bangladesh Interim Government. The two sides have in-depth exchange of views on China-Bangladesh relations and defence and security cooperation.
