Notice on Color Root (Hubei) Scholarship

Application for Color Root (Hubei) Scholarship is now open for Bangladeshi applicants. Color Root (Hubei) Scholarship is established by Color Root (Hubei) Technology Co. Ltd. China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC) is entrusted to manage the recruitment and carry out the routine management of this scholarship. Grantees of the scholarships will study in the postgraduate program of Dyeing and Finishing Engineering taught in English at Wuhan Textile University.

15 students will be granted Color Root (Hubei) scholarship for 2014.

PROGRAM AVAILABLE

2-year English-taught Master's program of Dyeing and Finishing Engineering. 

COVERAGE OF SCHOLARSHIP

1. A fee waiver of tuition, physical examination and residence permit application. 

2. A monthly living allowance: CNY 1,700/Month

3. Free on-campus dormitory accommodation (double room).

4. Comprehensive medical insurance. 

5. One-off round-trip international air tickets.

CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY

1. Applicants must be a citizen of Bangladesh, Pakistan or India and be in good health.

2. Applicants must have bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35.

3. Applicants must graduate from such majors as Dyeing and Finishing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering or other relevant.

4. Applicants must have a good command of English language.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must fill in and provide the following documents truly, correctly and completely (in triplicate filled in Chinese or English):

1. Application Form

Application form should be printed after filling and submitting online ( www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or campuschina.org click "Application online for international students". For instructions please see attachment).

2. Notarized highest diploma (photocopy)

3. Notarized academic transcripts (photocopy)

4. A study plan or research proposal (a minimum of 400 words)

5. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy)

Applicants should apply to China Scholarship Council before 30 May, 2014. No application documents will be returned.

APPROVAL AND NOTIFICATION

The name list of Runhe scholarship awardees will be published on CSC's website by 30 June, 2014. Admission Notice and Visa Application Form will be sent to scholarship awardees by authorized organization. Scholarship awardees will start their study at Wuhan Textile University in September 2014.

Instructions of the CSC Online Application System 

for International Students

Step 1: Visit http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org and click "Application Online for International Students".

Step 2: Read "Tips for online application" carefully before clicking "NEXT" to the registration page.

Step 3: After registration, log in with your user name and password. Click "Application Forms" and choose "Cooperation Program Scholarship".

Step 4: Fill in the correct Agency Number. An Agency Number represents a specific application receiving agency and will only be given to recommended applicants by application receiving agencies. It is listed in the first blank under the "PERSONAL DATA". Please make sure you fill it in correctly, otherwise you will not be able to continue your online application or your application will not be accepted.

Step 5: Please fill truly, correctly and completely information following the steps listed on the left of the page.

Applicants are required to select a discipline before choosing their majors. Please refer to the Disciplines Index, which could be downloaded from Help, if you have any doubt about the disciplines and majors. 

Step 6: After completing the application form, please click "Preview" and check your Application Form carefully before submitting it. Click "Confirmation of Submit" in the upper right corner to submit your Application Form.

Step 7: Download the completed Application Form by clicking "Download Application" and print two hard copies.

Step 8: Prepare other supporting documents as required and send the full package of application documents (hardcopies in duplicate) to the dispatching authorities.

Step 9: You can make changes to your application by clicking Retrieve Application on the left of the page. But make sure to submit it again by clicking Confirmation of Submit after finishing all the changes. Otherwise, the retrieved application will become invalid and your new application will not be received either.

l Only Chinese and English are accepted for the online application.
