In his remarks, Ambassador Yao stated that China-Bangladesh relations currently enjoy sound momentum with fruitful cooperation across political, economic, and people-to-people fields. He noted that the new Bangladeshi government, focusing on development and improving people's livelihoods, has brought a new outlook to the nation. Facing development challenges, China is willing to be Bangladesh’s most reliable partner by enhancing practical cooperation in various areas including green energy, emerging industries, healthcare, education, and people-to-people exchanges. The exchange of governance experience between the Communist Party of China and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) presents new opportunities. China has always regarded Bangladesh as a sincere friend and partner, and hopes that both sides will continue to firmly support each other, working together to promote the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations.

The participating experts and scholars unanimously agreed that China and Bangladesh share strong political mutual trust, have achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation, and possess a deep foundation of people-to-people friendship, with bilateral relations currently at the best period in history. China and Bangladesh should continue to firmly support each other on issues concerning their respective core interests and major concerns, and work together to elevate the China-Bangladesh Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to a higher level.
