The 2026 China-Bangladesh Education Cooperation Forum, hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, grandly opened on May 9. H.E. Ambassador Yao Wen, Bangladesh’s Education Minister H.E. Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon, the Prime Minister’s Education Adviser H.E. Dr. Mahdi Amin, along with experts from dozens of Chinese and Bangladeshi universities and educational institutions, as well as corporate representatives, attended the event in a warm and lively atmosphere.

In his address, Ambassador Yao Wen stated that education is a fundamental project for national modernization and a crucial pillar for youth development and national prosperity. China has always adhered to the development philosophy of prioritizing education and achieving self-reliance in science and technology. He expressed China’s willingness to deepen experience sharing and practical cooperation with Bangladesh in the field of education, so that China-Bangladesh educational cooperation can better serve the modernization of both countries, promote youth development, and help China-Bangladesh friendship bring greater benefits to the people of both nations.
