On August 18, the "Voice of Peace" China-Bangladesh Singing Contest, jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh and the Daffodil International University, was held at the Daffodil International University to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.

The contest featured three segments: "My Motherland," "Songs from the War," and "Voice of Peace." Over 100 participants, including teachers and students from various Bangladeshi universities and Chinese compatriots in Bangladesh, took to the stage to perform nearly 30 classic Chinese and Bangladeshi songs expressing patriotism, resistance against aggression and oppression, and the celebration of peace, collectively commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.
