On May 29, the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Wushu Federation jointly held a ceremony to donate martial arts training equipment to the Bangladesh Wushu Federation. Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen, Minister of State for Youth and Sports and Member of Parliament Md. Zahid Ahsan Russell, Chairman of Bangladesh Wushu Federation and Member of Parliament Abdus Sobhan Golap, Deputy Secretary-General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Ashiqur Rahaman Miku, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy Yue Liwen, and over 300 athletes and martial arts enthusiasts from member units of the Bangladesh Wushu Federation participated in the event.

After the donation ceremony, the guests also watched the wonderful performance of Bangladeshi martial arts athletes.

The materials donated to the Bangladesh Wushu Federation this time include training mats, performance clothes, and martial arts equipment. Prior to this, the Chinese embassy also donated materials to the federation and sponsored it to hold four "Chinese Ambassador Cup" martial arts competitions.
