To help Bangladeshi nationals apply for Chinese visas more efficiently and conveniently, the following important notices are hereby highlighted:
I. Application Process
a. Online Application Form Filling
Visit the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center at https://www.visaforchina.cn/ to complete the online visa application form and upload the required supporting documents as prompted by the system.
b. Await the Result of Preliminary Review
Following the submission of the online application comes the preliminary review. Applicants can check their application status on the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. If the result of the preliminary review is “To be modified” or “Supplementary documents to be provided”, please promptly supplement or modify the application and resubmit it. The application will then re-enter the preliminary review. If the result of the preliminary review is “Video interview to be scheduled”, please schedule an interview and attend the in-person interview at the Embassy during the appointed time.
c. Passport Submission
If the result of the preliminary review shows “Online review completed”, it indicates that the preliminary review has been approved. Applicants or their representatives should visit the Chinese Visa Application Service Center to submit their passports and other required documents, provide biometric information (such as fingerprints, if required), and pay the visa fees. No appointment is required.
Gentle reminder: Applicants under 14 or over 70 years of age, those who have provided fingerprints with the same passport within the past five years, those unable to provide fingerprints for all ten fingers, and those applying for short-term visas (staying for less than 180 days) for single or double entries before December 31, 2025, are exempt from fingerprint collection. They may authorize others to submit their materials on their behalf.
d. Visa Collection
Applicants can collect their visas on the expected date indicated on the pickup form. Normally, applicants will get their visas on the expected collection date.
II. Processing Time
After the online application is successfully submitted, the result of the preliminary review will typically be provided within one working day.
Starting from the day of passport submission to the Visa Center, regular processing usually takes 4 working days, while express processing takes 3 working days for visa collection.
To improve efficiency, the Embassy requires agencies to supplement materials or modify application forms within 3 working days upon receiving a preliminary rejection, submit passports to the visa center within 2 working days after initial approval, and deliver visas to applicants within 1 working day after collection. If you choose to use an agency to apply for a visa, please follow up with it according to the above timelines to avoid delays in your travel plans.
III. Account Management
The usernames and passwords registered by applicants or agencies on their behalf on the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (https://www.visaforchina.cn/) are in the possession of the applicants or agencies. The Embassy is not able to manage orders under these accounts. If a username or password is lost and there are pending orders under the account, the applicant will not be able to apply for a visa again using the same passport. The Embassy reminds applicants and agencies to safeguard usernames and passwords. Any consequences arising from improper management shall be borne by the account owner and the agency.
IV. Penalty Measures
Agencies that miss processing deadlines or mismanage accounts, leading to applicant complaints, will be suspended from submitting applications. If you experience visa delays, please contact your agency promptly. Disregard rumors about application issues or inflated fees.
The Embassy has not authorized, designated, or recommended any agency as an exclusive visa application service provider. If any agency or individual impersonates the Embassy for commercial visa services, legal action will follow.
